The Requirement
A growing client in the mobile telecoms business needed to supply its
regional field sales team with a range of 200 lines items of point of
sale materials so that the sales team can keep their retail customers
well stocked. In addition the client needs to be able to supply the
company's 20,000 strong retail customers directly with materials.
The Solution
Working very closely with the client, a database and process was created
to enable stock to be managed, sales team and retailer orders to be
captured and retailer address details to be held, as well as same day
orders to be processed and despatched.

The client is able to focus its resources on developing its business
rather than distracting staff with order processing and sales team fulfilment.
Valuable office space has been freed up now that stocks of material
do not need to be held by the client. Bulk orders of materials can be
made, increasing volume order discounts. Use of a web based courier
account means that the client can see at any time what despatches have
been made. A further suite of reports enable the client to maintain
complete control of stock and fulfilment activity levels.
Managing fast turnaround event mailing
programme and book fulfillment
The Requirement
A financial events and publishing company quickly needed to set up
an events direct mailing programme and financial books fulfilment operation.
The client requires personalisation of pre printed material and laser
printing in a number of different formats, insertion into window envelopes
and despatched to UK and Overseas recipients within very tight timescales
to meet event promotional and publishing deadlines.
The Solution
Book orders are processed by the client and passed to Instant Help.
We manage fulfilment and despatch the books ordered with receipts. Each
month the client gets a report showing stock balances of books and mailing
materials remaining, despatches carried out and mailings completed.

event programme in a highly cost effective and efficient way, maximising
postage savings that we can achieve on their behalf. Having set up specially
agreed standardised unit costs the client is able to budget the marketing

The Requirement
A major pharmaceuticals company uses an international call centre to
manage response customer enquiries for a range of product information
materials and welcome packs for newly enlisted customers for pets and
humans. They require fast response and accurate stock control.
The Solution
Data files are sent overnight to instant help. Each day packs and new
customer welcome packs containing product information and personalised
letters are produced and sent the same day. Coupon responses for further
information are received, logged and fulfilled also.

Managing Complex Print
Personalisation
The Requirement
A professional body needs to send personalised annual returns to member
organisations for regulatory purposes. The size of the annual return
varies considerably from one member organisation to the next. The returns
need to be produced and despatched to a strict timetable on a monthly
cycle with a repeat cycle for non respondents.
The solution
A word document linked to data tables enabled through a series of 'macros'
was produced. Each month new data is sent to Instant Help by the client
and processes/merged with the base document overnight. The document
is then laser printed, collated and stapled on-line before being inserted
with supporting documents and despatched.

The client is able to save staff time and costs as well as significantly
improving the quality of the final pack through this process.
